NADIRA BARTLEBAUGH, LPCC-S

Nadira is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Supervisory designation (LPCC-S). She earned her Master’s degree from Cleveland State University and has been practicing in this role for the past 14 years. The following areas helped her gain experience to evolve into her current position:

Community Mental Health Agency, where she worked closely by providing specialized Assessments to the Forensic Programs. This included working with the Courts, Jails, State Mental Health Hospital, and the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Board.

Dual Diagnosis to include Mental Health and Substance Use for the Forensic Program and non-Forensic population.

Due to the work, she enjoyed in the Forensic system, she extended her therapeutic skills into the prison system by providing Assessments, individual, and group therapy to inmates.

In addition, Nadira also worked in the Mental Health Hospital and Emergency Rooms to transition patients from Intake to Inpatient for Mental health and/or Substance Abuse admittance.

She worked with adolescents with special needs, specifically, diagnosed with Autism. In addition, she worked with children and adolescents in Residential settings with behavioral challenges. Since then, she has worked with children and adolescents in a private practice setting.

This opened the doorway for her to collaborate with parents and this led her to work with individuals in couples’ therapy.

She had the opportunity to engage in evidence-based training with a highly skilled Military Affiliated Program. This Program helped her understand how to work with soldiers and their family’s pre-deployment and then as veterans.

Currently, she only works with adults in individual therapy.
