Monique Malmer, DNP, FNP, PMHNP
Monique has extensive and diverse experience addressing medical and mental health concerns across the lifespan. She believes that improving mental health and quality of life involves treating the mind, body and spirit. Monique has worked in primary care, urgent care, and has worked as an expert medical examiner in child abuse. She has extensive experience addressing trauma and abuse. As an expert examiner for child abuse for the State of Ohio Attorney General’s Office, Monique has been advocating for victims of abuse since 2016. Monique has been working with pediatric patients since 1993. Monique has also worked with adult patients while working with the cardiothoracic transplant team at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Monique maintains her adjunct faculty position for graduate students at Ohio University. Over the past 30+ years working in healthcare, Monique has recognized that supporting mental health is a priority and leads to better overall health.
