Shayna Glista, APRN-CNP
Shayna has a tremendous amount of diverse experience. She earned her nursing degree from Mercy College of Ohio and then went on to obtain a BSN from Ohio University. Shayna holds a Master's Degree in Forensic Nursing from Cleveland State University and a Master's Degree from Chamberlain University where she obtained a degree as Family Nurse Practitioner. She also completed a Post Master’s certificate at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Mental Health. She is dual certified as both a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She has also obtained a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Practitioner certificate.
Shayna has held certification as a SANE-A (sexual assault nurse examiner - adults/adolescents) through the IAFN (International Association of Forensic Nurses). She worked as a SANE for 8 years as well as managed the SANE program, working with sexual assault survivors and collaborating with members of the community. Shayna is very passionate about working with trauma survivors.
With 16 plus years of nursing experience, Shayna has worked in a variety of settings including behavioral health, peri-anesthesia, critical care, forensic nursing, nursing education as a clinical instructor and nursing supervision. She has spent her time as a Nurse Practitioner working in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry settings.
